First, if you haven't done so already, choose a mentor. Be sure to find one who is willing to spend the time it takes to mentor you, has a solid track record and who is positive and encouraging. Someone who is ethical and committed to serving others.
Second, choose your tribe wisely. Surround yourself with people that reflect who you want to be and how you want to feel. Energies are contagious.
Third, set goals and track your performance. Having a clear focus in the form of a goal not only helps you stay on track, but will actually motivate you even more than factors such as financial gain. Setting goals gives your life direction and boost your motivation and self-confidence.
The fourth tip is work your sphere of influence. If you have ever interacted with another human being, you have a sphere of influence. Your sphere of influence exists because of the relationships that you've built with each person. Your sphere will be your initial source for referrals. Start working them.
And five, make a commitment to social media and video marketing in the age of technology this is huge. Social is a great way for agents to share their message and properties they've listed and sold as well as increase their following. Word of mouth is still a real thing.
